Blah. I have to take GAT. Waaah.

Hi friends,

Well yeah this is the day I have been waiting for since 2 months ago. It's the last day of school. But I guess I am not too enthusiastic, and I have no idea why. Never mind, at least I got to slack today. :)

Firstly I have gotten back my results, and I don't really want to let you all know my overall score upon 500, but anyway its 390.3/500 (what I remember, too lazy to check the book). GAH. And my percentage is 78.5, which means that I have to take the GAT when I apply for DSA. AND THAT SUCKS. I will be applying to 3 schools and well, that's the test 3 times. A lot of stuff pulled me back from reaching that beloved 80. Oh well, I absolutely abhor Term 1 (all subj) and Term 2(chinese + HCL). They seem to enjoy dunking my head into the toilet bowl...maybe it's their hobby. I want to make sure that kicking the poop out of their butts will be my next hobby. RoAr. :D

Okay so now I have set out the people that I REALLY, REALLY want to win for the following subjects next term. No offence if your name's there, it's just my personal target. It's an acknowledgment that you're REALLY, REALLY good, enough to earn a distinction's worth of sunglasses on my rock-o-meter. So I want to win you. :P

English - Jonathan, Daniel, Stephanie, Minyi - you guys are REALLY, REALLY pro.
Maths - No target person so far...maybe Jiale or Evelyn or Xin Ying. I don't normally set target people for Maths because I have no idea who to set as my target. But I do hope to get an 82 or 83, I've got enough of the 60s and 70s. :)
Science - No target person too. I don't know...I would like something above 85. A lofty ambition but I...well, I don't know.
Chinese/HCL - Hmm. I have dropped a lot but I certainly believe I can do better so I hope that I can reach somewhere near Mingrou. Which is very high. Shermaine and Zhe Xuan are too pro for me to reach...

So well, that's the results. But I don't want the blog post to be so short so I want to post something that is sort of lame and dumb but relevant to secondary schools.

Advertisement for Spammers Secondary School:

ATTENTION TO ALL STUDENTS!
Do you have a passion for spamming? Have you been admired for your spamming abilities? Or are you always annoyed by others online and made a target of spamming and want to master spamming to counter them? If you have the potential to spam and if you are willing to work hard, Spammers Secondary School is for you! We hire nurtured teachers who give their best in spreading the art of spamming and your spamming potential will bring you to success under the hands of our teachers!

Subjects offered are English, Maths, Science, HCL, CL, spamming and blogging. You may think that's a lot to handle but with the use of a spamming method learning is effortless. No worries, we don't spam students with worksheets. Instead, vocabulary, beautiful phrases and other concepts are inserted into spamming. We spam their worksheets with these until they are firmly rooted into their brains. They are encouraged to spam their friends with concepts and creative phrases on chats and blogs to push each other on. Of course, they need to be relevant to the chat topic. For example, if a student complains of stress, one can spam his blog with "We're in the same boat. We're crumbling under the weight of stress and this tentacled monster threatens to snap us with his powerful palms." and other phrases. If it's something about a student's eyesight detoriating and the need for myopia, one can blast his blog with information on bilberries, a fruit that is good for the eyes.(science) Everybody will benefit and learn together!

We believe in letting students have maximum resources to study and have fun, so not only are there many books in the library (including spamming and blogging guides), we have a game that serves as their spamming ground and a blog made for every one of them! The spamming game is extremely fun and teachers will track your results and give you advice. Your blogs are not free for teachers to read, but blogging advice will be given to teach you to express feelings freely, etc.

Skills taught during spamming include "Spamming to help oneself learn", "Spamming to defend oneself from an online bully", "Spamming to annoy a person" and "Spamming to get a person to stop ignoring you online". If you want to learn all that, you can enter through DSA. Instead of GATs, students are given a scenario where they have to spam and examined on how fast they spam, the contents of their spamming (not just jumbled letters unless its to get a person sleeping to wake up)and other stuff.

Spam your way to success!

That was utterly lame, I know. But I guess a bit of lameness here and there is fun. :)

Happy Hols, don't forget to apply to Spammers Sec Sch!

Cheers
